I had stamped and coloured in all three of these images ready to make card some time back so today I finally got round to making them into cards I like to have a stock of cards ready for peoples birthdays. Look no green...
I used to enjoy crafting as a child. My friend and I made scrapbooks, cutting out dogs and cats from old cards and newspapers. We knitted with scraps of wool or unpicked jumpers. I learnt to crochet and have made many things. I have now moved on to scrapbooking, card makings atc's altered tins, mini books tag books I have also taken part in three circle journals

Altered Ikea Mirror
I love altering Ikea mirrors this one has taken a long time to do First I sponge painted the frame in orange. Then I modge podged the frame with matt modge podge then I set about altering 16 children's wooden dominoes, this took quite some time I used a uni paint marker pen in gold to do all the edges of the dominoes I then altered them all in toning colours, adding gems, feathers, ribbons, buttons, butterflies and flowers. I must admit I am pleased with the finished effect.
Please excuse the dirty mirror section I have only just stuck the dominoes on the frame and wanted to get it on my blog ASAP .

I made this birthday Card some time back for Carole
But could not show it sooner, as I did not want to spoil the surprise, then I lost the photo I took of it,
thats so me I lose all kinds
Also Carole and I have just done a tag swop, well I send mine early not to put any pressure on Carole you understand, just to let her see how fast I can be...sometimes...not often, but sometime lol I can now sit back at my and await my tag from Carole :) Now when making my tag for Carole I wanted her to think of me when she looked at it so, well can you guess what colour I made it?

Altered childrens Dominoes
I found a box of wooden children dominoes in a charity shop, well you know how it is I thought they were just right to alter, well I had them quite some time and done nothing at all with them so decided to have a little play.
The picture on the right shows the front of the dominoes before altering
The backs of the dominoes before altering
I painted the dominoes with acrylic paints ((yellow ochre)I then stamped script in black archival ink over the top of paint both back and front. I then added embellishments. I have yet to add the ribbons I will use them to hang from my craft bag but they could be necklaces, brooches, key rings, bag bling, mobiles and many more things
I also had a go altering some dressmakers pins I have altered and used these before, they are fab additions to cards and scrapbook layouts
