My finished Altered House

The ribbon I tried to stain with coffee did stain a little but it did not make it dark enough, so I decided against using it I went with a antique feel lace instead  I am not the best photographer but you will get the idea I filled my little house with all kinds of goodies the word on it says dream.

I had lots of fun making it The shells in it I hot glued together and added a gem These are shells brought back from our holiday to Scotland last year, the valves I got from a junk shops I altered the key some time back The little animals are from a wall hanging that broke, but like all crafters I kept it thinking I might be able to use it I stuck one of the little animals on died bead so it looked like an elephant on a ball I put a bead on his trunk Lots of little treasure I am going to display it in my hallway on a shelf above the stairs I really had fun making it. thanks for looking

Hi Alma

This is so so gorgeous - I want one! Like you say, we tend to hoard little bits and bobs in the belief that one day they will find a home - so glad your time has come.

Well done missus.

Stunning piece! I am working on an altered house myself but I doubt mine will look half as good as yours!
